Shunyi Jianhe Park starts from the intersection of Jianhe river and Chaobai River in the East and ends at Nanbai road in the west, with a total length of 3.8 km. The average width of the green belt on both sides of the river is 100 meters. The river course is in the middle, and forms a waterfront belt park with an average width of 300 meters with the green space on both sides. The total land area is 185 hectares, including 31 hectares of water area and 154 hectares of green area.

Jianhe river flows through the northeast of the central area of Shunyi city and connects with Shunyi New City after development and construction, which plays an important role in connecting the north and south cities. Jianhe park construction project not only faces Shunyi New City and serves the Green Olympics, but also effectively improves the landscape quality, optimizes the regional development environment, creates favorable conditions for attracting investment, and drives the economic development of the northern part of the urban center.

Wucaiyuan, one of the scenic spots of Jianhe Park, starts from Binhe country park in the East, ends at shuangxingqiao in the west, borders Shunyi city in the South and Jianhe river in the north, with a total length of 1.8 km. It is a waterfront belt park with a total area of 14.8 hectares and a green space rate of 79.05%. The colorful garden is named after "colorful plants, colorful lights, colorful sculptures, colorful floors and colorful people". In the south, color leafed plants and colorful flowers are dominant, emphasizing the color effect and setting off a warm atmosphere; in the middle, wavy terrain and geometric terrain are the features to create exquisite landscape and display novel shapes; in the north, quiet forest space is the feature to pursue harmonious nature and meet the needs of recreation. The main scenic spots of the park are colorful garden, terrace square, colorful square, terrain sculpture garden, L-shaped stool square, etc. There are rose garden, crape myrtle garden and Hemerocallis garden. At the same time, there are several groups of unique urban sculptures related to ecological concepts, such as "eyes of the earth" and "under the blue sky".

Wucaiyuan Road, sprinkler irrigation, lighting, sound, greenhouse building and other infrastructure facilities are perfect, seats, garbage cans, signs and other service facilities are complete, which is a green link between Shunyi New City and old city, reflecting the characteristics of Shunyi "waterfront, ecology, international, vitality, livable". Wucaiyuan was awarded the title of "boutique Park" in Beijing in 2007. Its completion has greatly improved the living environment of the surrounding residents and effectively improved the ecological environment quality of the northeast of Shunyi city.

Flower show launched

In late April, the first tulip flower exhibition in Jianhe park will be held with the theme of "meeting Jianhe with exotic customs".
