Jinglang Island Park is located at the north end of Sanjiadian reservoir on Yongding River in Mentougou, Beijing. It is adjacent to Shidan road in the west, national highway 109 and Beijing Sixth Ring Road in the East.

About the park

Jinglang Island Park is located at the north end of Sanjiadian reservoir on Yongding River in Mentougou, Beijing. It is adjacent to Shuidan road in the west, national highway 109 and Beijing Sixth Ring Road in the East. The construction of jinglang Island Park started in May 2010 and was completed in August. It covers a total area of 128000 square meters, with green area accounting for 95%.

Jinglang island is naturally formed by the long-term impact of the river, and is called "Jiangxinzhou" by the local people. The island in the middle of Yongding River is a "geomantic treasure land". The Yongding River flowing from west to East is like a dragon winding through Liuliqu village in the mountains. After the ordeal and baptism of Liao, Jin, yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, the island surrounded by mountains on three sides gradually became the Pearl of this "Panlong".

There are scenic pavilions, walking corridors, colored lighting and leisure benches on the island. When tired of the fast pace of life in the city, you might as well come to jinglang Island, a natural oxygen bar, away from the noise and troubles, and roam in the green ocean. There are also supporting leisure and entertainment facilities on the island: baseball field, softball court, badminton court and tennis court for sports and leisure; the whole family strolls along the forest path, flies kites and picnics on the lawn; couples ride bicycles on the island and enjoy the scenery along the island

A. Railway station:

Beijing station: take bus No.37 or 103 to fuwaixikou, transfer bus no.336 to Sanjiadian Xikou, take bus no.383 across the road, and get off at cement plant. (you can also take Metro Line 2 to Jianguomen station, transfer metro line 1 to Pingguoyuan station, and then refer to B and metro station.)
