Asia Art Center Founded in 1982, the center has exhibition space in Beijing, Shanghai and Taipei. It always adheres to the concept of "vision, integrity and professionalism" to explore and promote outstanding artists, and takes the presentation of the highest quality artist creation and exhibition as the primary principle, so as to build a high-level, diversified and refined international art platform.

"Vision, integrity and professionalism" - to build an international gallery

The Asian art center basically parallels modern and contemporary styles, and pays equal attention to academic and commercial principles. While advocating traditional and modern classics, it also promotes avant-garde contemporary art. In recent years, in addition to actively participating in art fairs at home and abroad, we have also worked with major art museums and institutions at home and abroad to plan and cooperate with them, and are committed to academic exchanges and promotion.

The concept of "New Oriental Spirit", which is one of the main ideas of Asian Art Center, is another kind of contemporary aesthetics based on its own traditional cultural concepts and value system and fully integrated with the essence of eastern and Western aesthetic theories. In August 2008, the first large-scale group exhibition of "New Oriental spirit I - deposition" was held in Beijing Museum. In 2010, the group exhibition of "New Oriental Spirit II - Chengqi" was named "best group exhibition of gallery of the year". Artists participating in the two exhibitions included Cai Guoqiang, Chen Jieren, Zhu Dequn, Zhuang Zhe, Hou Junming, Huang Gang, Guo Zhenchang, Zhu Ming, Li Zhen, Li Shan, Li Xiqi, Li Lei, Lang Jingshan and Lu Sheng Zhong, Mao Lizi, pan Gongkai, Qiu Shihua, Su Xiaobai, Shang Yang, Tan Ping, Wang Huaiqing, Xu Bing, Ye Yongqing, Yang Shihong, Yang Yingfeng, Xia Xiaowan, Zhao Wuji, Wang Jingwang and Zhang fangbai (in alphabetical order) are 29 outstanding contemporary Chinese artists. Since then, the Asian Art Center has successively launched the extension Exhibition of the concept of "New Oriental Spirit", including: 2010 "light and shadow" - Gao Xingjian's new painting exhibition in 2010, "traces of existence" - Yang Shihong's works exhibition in 2011, "atmosphere" - Li Zhenda's sculpture solo exhibition, which was launched in Taipei's Chung Cheng memorial hall; 2012 "the immortality of nature - thousand years old and grass people" at Seattle Frye Art Museum "Li Zhen's solo exhibition, the 13th Venice Biennale parallel exhibition," century's legacy and future space "Ying Tianqi's solo exhibition," world experience and meditation "Shen Kelong's lacquer works exhibition," light / ink "Zheng Zhengbin's solo exhibition, etc. have attracted much attention and praise. In addition to the brand concept and series exhibitions of "New Oriental Spirit", the Asian Art Center will launch more high-quality exhibitions in succession, including the parallel exhibition of the 55th Venice Biennale in 2013, the Chinese large-scale project "culture, spirit and generation", Li Zhen's solo exhibition of wandom square in Paris, etc.

The Asian Art Center believes that "the 21st century is the century of Chinese, and Chinese art will create infinite possibilities". While promoting excellent Chinese contemporary art, it will continue to exchange and promote more Asian contemporary art in the future.
