Wukesong basketball park is a renovation and expansion project of Wukesong Cultural and Sports Center, a basketball and baseball venue of Beijing Olympic Games. The park is located in the northeast corner of Wukesong bridge on the West Fourth Ring Road and the southwest side of LETV sports ecological center (formerly Wukesong Stadium). It is about 80 meters long from east to west and 190 meters long from north to south, covering a total area of about 15200 square meters.

Park Planning

The park adopts a sunken design, with a complete basketball court of 11 pieces and a six meter high three on three air cage half court which is deeply loved by street basketball fans. Eight of the 11 complete stadiums are double-layer three-dimensional stadiums, of which four on the first floor are equipped with transparent glass, air conditioning and heating inside.

The park has a comprehensive building with shower and dressing room, sponsor exhibition area, sports innovative products experience store, theme restaurant and small leisure club. The second floor of the complex building adopts an open design, with a viewing platform overlooking the basketball court. It is not only connected with the theme restaurant and other facilities, but also connected with the second floor court and the air cage half.

The activities of Wukesong basketball park are preliminarily planned as five parts: daily operation, grassroots League, theme activities, cooperation of other brand competitions and youth training.

Grass roots Basketball League: it is planned to establish an amateur basketball league, recruiting about 300 member teams, which will be organized by the league, adopting a unified competition system and professional competition facilities, and holding two seasons of spring and autumn games every year;

Theme activities: specially plan and publicize the theme activities of family affection, public welfare love and healthy life, and hold the theme activities such as family basketball fun competition, basketball talent skills competition, public welfare star basketball friendship competition and fancy basketball carnival on weekends;
