Zhongshan Memorial forest

Zhongshan Memorial forest is the first forest recreation area established in Jinmen county. It is located between Xiguo mountain and shuangru mountain in the middle of Jinmen Island, next to central highway (Boyu Road), covering an area of about 100 hectares. At present, the park has been included in the scope of Kinmen National Park.

The forest area is high-rise pine, and some camping areas are planned. In addition, there are rumen fortress, anti-aircraft guns, fighter planes and chariots display area in the forest area, which adds historical records to the artillery battle of Kinmen Island in the 1950s when the Taiwan Provincial army confronted the Communist Party of China on the other side.

Memorial Hall

At the north end of Zhongshan Memorial forest, it is a traditional courtyard building. The museum displays the famous handwriting of the late president of the Republic of China, Jiang Jingguo, as well as historical photos and cultural relics.

Commemorative activities

On March 10, 2019, Guangzhou citizens day came to the cemetery of the martyrs of the eastern expedition in wansongling, Changzhou Island, Huangpu, Guangzhou, and braved the continuous spring rain to plant the "Zhongshan Memorial forest" together

Ticket information: no ticket required. Included in Beigu mountain tickets, 40 yuan in peak season (March 1 - May 31, August 16 - November 15) and 30 yuan in off season (June 1 - August 15, November 16 - the end of February of the next year).
