After 1840, the Japanese set up a cemetery at the foot of the island's langdang mountain. The dead missionaries and merchants in the West were all buried in the cemetery of foreigners, also known as "Fanzi tomb", in the middle of Gulangyu Island. Only part of the tombstone remains because of the construction of the concert hall. The Chinese Christian cemetery is located near anxianlou, at the Western foot of Jimu, which is still intact. Most of the people buried in the cemetery are Chinese Christians, including Chinese priests and missionaries. Lu's tomb and tombstone, known as "the first person engaged in the cutting movement", are also preserved in the cemetery of Chinese Christians.
