Gaoling Museum

Gaoling museum is located in the antique building complex of Zhaohui square. The structure of the museum is axisymmetric. It is designed to imitate the forest style of Tang garden, forming an architectural layout of one Pavilion, one courtyard, two corridors, two areas, two museums and six halls. The museum integrates cultural relics collection and display, historical data research, cultural heritage, science popularization and other functions. Relying on rich cultural heritage and profound cultural accumulation, the museum displays more than 400 pieces of pottery, stoneware and other cultural relics, as well as physical data of economic and social development by means of modern scientific and technological means such as lighting, image and scene reproduction in the form of special exhibition. 90% of the cultural relics exhibited are of grade 1 It's on. Among them, Tang Zhaohui tower, a national key cultural relic protection unit, and Li Sheng stele, a key cultural relic protection unit in Shaanxi Province and known as "three unique steles", are also located in it.

Gaoling Museum

Gaoling Museum, the first comprehensive museum in Gaoling District of Xi'an City, was officially opened to the public on March 30, 2017.

Collection introduction

Gaoling Museum started construction in October 2014, with a construction area of more than 9000 square meters, an exhibition area of more than 1400 square meters and more than 400 cultural relics on display. There are historical and cultural exhibition hall, Gaoling historical memorial hall, economic and social development exhibition hall, Stone Gallery and temporary exhibition hall, forming a Tang style architectural layout of one Pavilion and one courtyard, two corridors and two districts, two halls and six halls. Precious cultural relics such as pottery unearthed from yangguanzhai site, bronze mirror with continuous beads of Zhou Dynasty, Zen stick unearthed from monk's Tomb of jinlongchang temple, Dongwei bridge stele of Tang Dynasty, etc. are all displayed in it. Zhaohui tower, the national key cultural relics protection unit, and Li Sheng stele of Tang Dynasty, which is known as "three unique steles", are all located in it.
