Located in the west of Chengtai village, Danba Town, Zhidan County. It is a single room cave. It is located in the north, South, north by mountains, South by Luohe River and East by stone cliffs. The grottoes are divided into two parts: the front grottoes and the back grottoes.
The front cave is 24.2 meters wide, 6.54 meters deep and 4.35 meters high. The front grottoes are divided into five rooms by four pillars, with side lengths ranging from 1.55m to 1.77m. On the two stone pillars in the middle, there are relief sculptures of sun Bodhisattva and moon Bodhisattva respectively. There are sixteen Arhats on the wall of the cave.
The rear grottoes are 10.5 meters wide, 8.26 meters deep and 4.35 meters high. In the center of the cave, a stone is chiseled into a base altar, on which there is a round statue of three disciples of Buddha. There are four stone pillars connected to the top at the four corners of the altar, with a side length of 1.4 meters. In the middle of the back wall of the cave is the relief of Buddha III, and on both sides are the relief of one Buddha and two Bodhisattvas.
According to the inscription of the statue at the entrance of the cave, the cave was excavated in the second year of Jiayou reign of emperor Renzong of Song Dynasty (1057 AD). There are also inscriptions on statues in the ninth year of Jin Huangtong (1149 AD) and the second year of Jin Tiande (1150 AD).
