Yangtze River Source Water Ecological Protection Station

"Green River" is the abbreviation of Sichuan Green River environmental protection promotion association. It was established in 1995. It is a Chinese non-governmental environmental protection association approved by Sichuan Environmental Protection Department and officially registered in Sichuan civil affairs department.

The purpose of "Green River" is to promote and organize the natural ecological and environmental protection activities in the upper reaches of the river, promote the development of China's folk natural ecological and environmental protection work, improve the environmental awareness and environmental ethics of the whole society, and strive to realize the sustainable development of the social economy in the river basin. Its main tasks are: to establish a natural ecological environment protection station in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River; to organize scientific workers, journalists, domestic and foreign environmental groups and environmental volunteers to carry out a series of scientific investigations on the ecological environment in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, put forward practical suggestions and promote their implementation.
