New snow country ski resort

Located in Chicheng County, Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province, the new XueGuo residence and tourism resort is located in the northwest of Hebei Province, northwest of Beijing suburb. It is only 130 km away from Beijing in a straight line, with a planning area of 96 square kilometers. The first phase project investment is 10.9 billion yuan.

On April 9, 2014, the commencement ceremony of Chicheng "new snow country" project, which will become the first ski resort in China, was held in Chicheng County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. As a major investment project highly valued in Hebei Province, the launch of "new snow country" project will greatly promote the economic development of Chicheng, promote the process of urbanization, and make Chicheng integrate into the process of Beijing Tianjin Hebei integration and coordinated development to the maximum extent. When the first phase of the new city project is completed, the "new snow country" ski resort will become the only intercontinental ski resort within 300 kilometers of Beijing that can achieve a drop of 800 meters within 3000 meters [2].
