Taiwu ski town is located in Chongli District, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, in the northwest and east of Beijing, 220km away from Beijing. It is not only a large-scale comprehensive ski resort, but also the core area of snow competition in 2022 Winter Olympic Games.

Taiwu owns the jade beam (2160m), the main peak of Chongli, with an absolute fall of 510m. The annual average temperature in this area is 4.2 degrees, and the snow period lasts for 150 days. Taiwu skiing town (Taiwu skiing and mountain resort) is located in Chongli District, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. It is invested by Chongli Taiwu tourism resort Co., Ltd. with a total land area of 40 square kilometers and a total investment of more than 20 billion yuan.

It has the highest peak of yushiliang (2160m above sea level) in Chongli County, with a vertical drop of 510m and a snow cover time of 150 days. It is between 40-50 degrees north latitude with the world-famous Rockies and Alps, and is recognized as the world's "mountain resort" golden zone.

Nearly 200 snow lanes are planned to be developed in the town, and the proportion of primary, medium and advanced snow lanes reaches the international standard, which is 3:4:3, with a total length of 138 km. Meanwhile, 45 cableways and 21 magic carpets are planned, with a total length of 38.23 km.
