Haba snow mountain

Haba snow mountain is a high mountain rising sharply under the strong influence of the Himalayan orogeny and the Quaternary tectonic movement after it. "Haba" means the flower of gold in nasi. The highest peak of the snow mountain is 5396 meters above sea level, while the lowest river is only 1550 meters above sea level. The upper part of the mountain is relatively gentle, and the lower part is steep, magnificent, beautiful and mysterious.

Haba snow mountain is almost a must climb place for mountaineers. It is also a peak suitable for junior mountaineers. The best climbing seasons are March to June and September to December. The other seasons are rainy season and windy season. Although most tourists come to Haba snow mountain mainly for mountaineering, it also has beautiful natural scenery. Almost all the rhododendrons in Northwest Yunnan are concentrated here. Different kinds of rhododendrons can be seen at different altitudes, which is called "mother of world garden" by biologists at home and abroad.
