Chating reservoir

Chating reservoir is located in Jiufeng Mountain, chating Town, Wangcheng District, Changsha. It is 35 minutes' drive from Changsha North bus station. It is one of the best reservoirs in the suburbs of Changsha. It is especially suitable for camping, barbecue, watching stars and cycling. The water quality of chating reservoir is very good. You can fish, have a picnic, camp, and ride a bike through the mountains around the lake. Around Jiufeng Mountain, West Lake Forest Farm and other places to play. The reservoir is divided into two steps. The first step is the dam, which has a wide view and clear air. The cement road on the left side of the dam is the second level small dam, surrounded by green mountains and clear waters, and the valley is quiet.

Bus routes

At the north bus station, take a minibus to Xiangyin (RMB 8-10, starting from the Foreign Affairs College of University of forestry and science, RMB 4-5) for 50 meters. After getting off, turn right and walk for about 1500 meters.

Chartered or self driving

Starting from Changsha, take Changxiang highway (towards Xiangyin) in wujialing, cross Laodao River, and take Zhongqing road to chating toll station, the next stop of Shahe toll station (20km). After leaving the toll station, 200 meters to the right, then to the right at the fork of Xiangjian Road, to the chating reservoir. It's about an hour's drive.
