Tianfang building is located in room 401B, building 2, Yazhou building, 355 Huanghe Road, Huangpu District (near Xinzha Road). It was built in 1947 in memory of Jin Songcen.

Introduction to scenic spots

In the campus of Tongli middle school, there is a two-story education building named "Tianfang building". It was built in 1947 in memory of Jin Songcen. Tianfanglou is located near Fuguan bridge in the northwest of the ancient town. It was the former site of Tongchuan school. According to the records of Tongli annals, Tongchuan school and Tongchuan autonomous society were established in the 28th year of Guangxu (A.D. 19oz), under the leadership of Jin Songcen; Tongchuan school was renamed Tongchuan second class primary school in the 32nd year of Guangxu (A.D. 19o6), and Minghua girls' school was founded, which was the beginning of modern primary education in Wujiang. Jin Songcen (1874-1947) studied in Nanying Academy of Jiangyin. In the year of Guangxu 214 (1898 A.D.), education was set up in his hometown before recommending economy. Together with Chen Qubing, he founded xueshame society in Tongli in response to the Kang Liang reform. A few years later, they set up an autonomous society on the basis of Tongchuan school to teach new culture. Liu Yazi had studied in Tongchuan school for two years and formed a deep friendship with Jin Songcen. Many of the students who have been taught by him have grown into outstanding talents from all walks of life, such as Liu Yazi, Wang Peijing, pan Guangdan, Jin Guobao, Yan Baoli, Fei Xiaotong, Wang Shao 鏊, Jiang Yinqiu, fan Yanqiao and so on. His knowledge and integrity have been carried forward in his students.
