Wutong Palace
Wutong palace is located in Wutong village, Xiage Town, Zhaoan County, Fujian Province. It was built in the first year of Yongle in Ming Dynasty (1403), and expanded in the 28th year of Wanli (1600) and the 18th year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty (1679). Facing south from north, the main building is a single eaves rest peak type. At present, there are more than 50 Wutong palaces in Taiwan, all of which are ancestral temples.
Provincial cultural relics protection units
Wutong palace was listed as the seventh batch of provincial cultural relics protection units by Fujian provincial government on November 16, 2009. The scope of protection covers ancient sites, ancient tombs, ancient buildings, stone carvings and statues, important modern historical sites and representative buildings.
