General temple
Jiangjun temple, located in Qianpu Township, northeast corner of Zongyang County, Anhui Province, was founded in January 1958. It is located at the junction of Wuwei, Lujiang and Zongyang counties, with a total area of 2259 hectares. It is a national key public welfare forest of 2141.8 hectares, with a total volume of 14000 cubic meters and a forest coverage rate of 81.6%.
It is said that during the Three Kingdoms period, general Zhou Yu of the eastern Wu Dynasty once stationed there. Because he was kind to the people, after he left, the people changed the name of the village to general village in memory of general Zhou Yu. There is still a general temple in the village (destroyed in the cultural revolution and rebuilt later)
