Taicang jincanghu Wetland Park general plan passed demonstration

Taicang "jincanghu Wetland Park Master Plan" recently through the Provincial Forestry Bureau expert group demonstration. Experts believe that the planning fully takes into account the location advantages, natural characteristics and cultural heritage of the Wetland Park, the guiding ideology is clear, the function positioning is accurate, the principle of protection and reasonable development, and the purpose of giving full play to the multiple functions and benefits of the wetland, reflecting the concept of ecological protection, scientific restoration and reasonable development.

Jincanghu Wetland Park is a key project of Taicang municipal government. It starts from Suzhou Kunming Taiyuan Expressway in the south, ends at yanglintang in the north, sleeps shiputang in the East and borders radius River in the West. The planned area of the project is 6 square kilometers, with a water area of more than 1000 mu and a planned greening area of 264.38 hectares. The total investment of the project is about 1 billion yuan. Jincanghu Wetland Park is not only an urban oxygen bar built in Taicang by using urban construction wasteland, but also an ecological experience park integrating tourism, leisure, sports and green ecology. According to the master plan, the wetland park is divided into six areas: jincanghu core area and wetland ecological experience area, wetland ecological conservation area, jincanghu tourist area, leisure resort area and wetland agricultural sightseeing area. The first phase of the project has been completed and officially opened to the outside world, while the second phase is under construction.
