Old Purple mud sugar factory

Panyu Zini sugar factory is located in Shawan Town, Panyu District, behind the famous tourist attraction baomo garden. The old workshop of Zini sugar factory was built in 1953, with a history of 58 years. In the third national cultural relics survey, the former site of Zini sugar factory was selected as one of the "100 new discoveries" in Guangdong census. The old workshop of Zini sugar factory covers an area of 360000 square meters. The buildings and equipment with cultural relic value are concentrated in the core area of nearly 80000 square meters of production and office. In 1953, there were 11 buildings, including one Soviet style office building and three dormitory buildings. There are four factories of different times from 1950s to 1990s in the whole plant area, so it is rare to have a complete Soviet style building in Guangdong.
