Wanshou West Palace

Wanshou West Palace was the site of Guandi temple in Ming Dynasty, but there are still some temple buildings and inscriptions. Now it is also called Wanshou park. In order to maintain the original style of ancient buildings and reflect the characteristics of the park for the elderly, the park has opened up some scenic spots mainly with legacy buildings, such as "green bamboo garden" - the elderly activity center; "Qinfang garden" - the place of Beijing customs and ornamental flowers and birds; "health care forest" - the elderly gateball place, etc.

On this basis, in order to highlight the theme of recreation, the park has built a group of antique archways with different styles in the East and South gates, and the inscriptions on the back are "Changle Yongkang" and "Wanqing". In addition, the scenic spots such as "children's paradise", "open-air dance floor", "sparse forest lawn" and "practice area" were built, and famous calligraphers were invited to inscribe plaques and write couplets for the scenic spots, which filled with a cultural atmosphere everywhere.
