Pu'an temple, also known as Niangniang Temple, was built in 1904 by Chao Yuanchun, the 19th generation disciple of Quanzhen dragon sect.
Pu'an Temple
Pu'an temple is located in the north mountain of xifengcheng. It was founded in 1904 and was seriously damaged in 1966. In 1998, Wang Quanlin, Deputy Secretary General of China Taoist Association, President of Liaoning Taoist Association, member of the Standing Committee of Liaoning Provincial Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference, and supervisor of Qianshan Wulong palace, invested 5 million yuan to rebuild Puan temple.
The reconstructed Pu'an temple covers an area of 4000 square meters. There are Laojun hall, Guanyin hall, bell and Drum Tower, East and West rooms, Dharma hall, courtyard wall, steps, platform, etc. In the hall, there are worships such as taishanglaojun, Sanguan Dadi, medicine King Sun Simiao, Guanyin Pusa, LV Dongbin, Guan Gong, Niangniang of vision, and Niangniang of descendants.
The newly renovated Pu'an Temple faces south. The overall layout of the temple is unique and solemn. The buildings of each hall are carved with dragons and painted with phoenixes, and the cornices of Dougong are magnificent, simple and spectacular. They are well coordinated with the beautiful scenery of Beishan Park, and have become wonderful cultural landscapes and tourist attractions.
