Peikucuo, also known as peikucuo, bogucuo and lacoxincuo, is located in Jilong County, southern Tibet Autonomous Region of China. It is 60 km north of Xixiabangma peak and 40 km south of Yarlung Zangbo River, with an altitude of 4580 meters and an area of 284.4 square kilometers. It is the largest lake in Xigaze region.
The lake area is affected by the Indian Ocean warm and humid air flow, with abundant precipitation. The average annual temperature is 2 ℃ and the annual precipitation is 300-400mm. The water of the lake is mainly supplied by precipitation and snowmelt runoff, and the main river entering the lake is barixiongqu on the southeast bank.
