The unique Songtao Reservoir, known as Tianhu, is 15 kilometers away from it. It is located in the upstream of Henan Dujiang River, the largest river in Hainan, and at the intersection of the main roads of Hainan's central and Western routes. It originates from Wuzhishan mountain, flows through Baisha and enters Danzhou. The water surface area of the reservoir is 130 square kilometers, the storage capacity is 3.345 billion cubic meters, and the rainwater collection area is 1496 square kilometers. The bank line of the reservoir is 544 km long, and the main water routes are 66.5 km, including about 39 km (upstream) from Nanfeng to Baisha Yacha port, and 27.5 km (downstream) from Nanfeng to Songtao dam.
