Hall on Hall

Zhujiating is the residence of a Zhu family in Wuzhen. People in Wuzhen like to call it "tingshangting". The main hall of zhujiating is called zhaoqingtang. The owner abandoned his official position and started a jewelry business, and named the jewelry shop "zhaoqingtang". Due to the exquisite workmanship and reliable quality of Zhu's jewelry, it was a famous signboard in Jiangnan area at that time. Local people would buy "Zhaoqing hall" jewelry in preparation for marriage. In today's Zhujia hall, there are also many gold and silver ornaments on display, whose exquisite workmanship is no inferior to that of modern mechanical processing.
