Guishan Wetland Park

In Chaohu, the mention of Guishan is almost well known. Because there are "three turtles" in Chaohu Lake, namely beiguishan, nanguishan and dongguishan. Dongguishan, also known as ruxushan, is located in Diaoyutai in the east of lake. There is a tower on the mountain, which is called Wenfeng Tingta, commonly known as "guishanzizi". It is said that the tower was built in Zhenshan. Nanguishan, located in taoxizui on the South Bank of Chaohu Lake, faces beiguishan across the lake.

Guishan, where Guishan park is located, is actually beiguishan, which is located at the east entrance of Chaohu Lake. It is named after its turtle like shape and is the first of the "three turtles" in Chaohu Lake. Therefore, people often say Guishan refers to beiguishan.

"The turtle mountain is 126 meters high, with its head raised, its tail winding into Chaohu Lake in the South and Chongshan mountain in the north. The mountains are green and the water is green, the swallows are singing and the warblers are singing, just like a painting scroll. On the glans, there are luxuriant trees, lush grass and quiet environment. " In the 1990s, due to the rise of tourism, the people's Government of Chaohu City built the Guishan scenic spot, and built a pavilion in the Guishan Park of the scenic spot. A stele was erected in the pavilion, and the stele was engraved with the inscription of the stele of Guishan scenic spot, which described the Guishan mountain and its scenery in detail with beautiful words.
