The censer peak

Xianglu peak is the commanding height of Daba Forest Park in Bazhong, Sichuan Province. It is named after its shape of Xianglu. The scenery of Xianglu peak is unique. From morning to night, different periods of time have different highlights. From morning fog, to sea of clouds, to Rhododendron, to perfect sunset, to stars, it is very popular.

The censer peak

Xianglu peak is connected with Kuaiji mountain where Dayu mausoleum is located. It is one of the peaks of Kuaiji mountain. It is said that there is a "book of gold slips and jade characters" on the mountain, which was sent by Xia Yu. He was able to "know the situation of mountains and rivers" and finally control the flood. Xianglu peak is 354 meters high, and its top is 10 meters square. It is named after Xianglu peak. It is a tourist attraction with both Buddhist temples and scenic spots.

Main attractions

Xianglu peak is located at the gate of Jishan, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province. From the south of Dayu mausoleum, there are car road, luoshixuan road and koushan road. It is 354 meters above sea level. Starting from luoshixuan in the north of the peak, passing the nanzhendian hall, climbing 1508 steps, and passing several pavilions such as No.1 Pavilion, No.2 Pavilion, No.3 Pavilion and Qingcui Pavilion, you can reach the peak all the way. True as Wang Shipeng said: "green and green, the rocks are high and steep, and the mountains are majestic and winding", which has the feeling of "Tianzhu can be used as a ladder".

The third Pavilion is on the Xigang of Xianglu peak. From here to the East, although the slope has slowed down, the danger has increased sharply. However, we can see that the top of the peak is abrupt and looks like a crucian carp's back (commonly known as thin ox's back). The narrowest part is no more than three or four meters, while on both sides are cliffs, and the bottom is deep.

The peak is ten meters square and looks like a censer. Bai Juyi of Tang Dynasty has a poem "Fengqiao Buddha censer". Every time it's cloudy and rainy, the top of the mountain is misty and misty. It's called "smoke and rain on the furnace peak". It's one of the 12 scenic spots in central Vietnam. Therefore, Wang Shipeng, the number one scholar of Southern Song Dynasty, has a famous sentence "incense from smoke".

The scenery around Xianglu peak is very spectacular. There are half moon rock, a piece of stone, Yunmen stone, Feilai stone and other strange peaks and stones on the ridge. There is a big mouse tower on the east side and a huge stone on the top. According to ancient records, there is luohantan under the peak and qianzhangkeng beside it.

The old nunnery of Xianglu peak, built against the rock and named nantianzhu, has been rebuilt, and three holy halls and Guanyin hall have been built on the mountain. There are seven modern inscriptions on the stone wall of the ridge line, and the one with the most words in the cliff is Prajna paramita Sutra.

Buddism godness Guanyin Temple

After passing the thin cattle back, I can see the stone carving of "Prajna paramita Sutra" on the right side, which leads people to the Guanyin hall at the top of the mountain. According to records, Tianzhu Mountain Temple was built on the top of the furnace peak.

In the southern and Song Dynasties, the temple was full of incense. Gao abhorred Fa Hui's "strict law, hiding Yu's cave in Tianzhu peak, reciting FA Hua Jing, and not walking in the world for 30 years.".

In Tang Dynasty, Liu Yuxi had a deep friendship with Liu Yuxi, and his poems hated the spirit and enlightened the master. After his death, he was also buried in this mountain. It is said that there was a monk in the Song Dynasty who worshipped the jade statue of Guanyin here. At that time, he was called nantianzhu. In Wei Geng's poem "visiting Tianzhu temple and sending to Jiang Qianwu in Kuaiji", there is a sentence that "I heard about Tianzhu temple in the past and dreamed of Linglong unit". Since then, southern Tianzhu has been prosperous and abandoned. Cai Yuanpei once wrote the banner of "Ciyun Guangbei" for the temple.

Lufeng Temple

There are many places of interest around Guanyin hall, such as Xiansheng temple, biaosheng temple, Tianwa temple, Shiwu pagoda, Nanzhen temple, Yangming cave, Longrui palace, Gehong Liandan well and ouzhizi zhujianpu.

At present, the largest building is Lufeng temple, which was rebuilt on the rock by overseas Chinese in 1990. It covers an area of 153000 square meters, including Guanyin hall, side hall, senliao and guest hall.

Guanyin hall faces south, with three couplets and double eaves. It faces the wind on all sides. The flying part of your highness is turned into senliao. In the east of it is the five Ying hall, which is of reinforced concrete structure with extraordinary momentum.

Traffic information

Take a 1-hour train from Hangzhou to Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province (ticket 13 yuan / piece), and take a bus from Shaoxing City to Dayuling scenic spot for 1 yuan. You can climb mountains from the scenic spot. Xianglu peak is very suitable for mountaineering exercise.

Every year on February 19, June 19 and September 19 of the lunar calendar, it is commonly known as lufengxiang city. There are so many people who go up to the mountain to worship, offer incense and visit that it is very popular.
