The fishing port is located at the middle point of the coastline of Taidong County, in the north of the Beinan River Estuary, about 6km away from Taidong City, and near the junction of Taidong city and Beinan township.

Fugang fishing port is also called Jialan port, jialulan port or Taidong port. The fishing port was built in 1954, formerly known as "kalulan port", which was named after its proximity to the "kalulan community" of the AMI tribe. In the early days of the fishing port, there were small fishing villages. Fishermen made a living by fishing and used fishing boats to transport manpower and materials to the outlying islands. Up to now, Fugang fishing port still retains the traditional fishing village settlement form and fishing behavior, which is similar to the typical linear settlement form in Taidong county.

In addition to being the daily consumption place and sea fishing ground of Taitung people, Fugang fishing port has become a tourist hub for the above-mentioned places due to the prosperity of Tourism along the east coast of Taiwan in recent years, the unique tourist attractions in Taiwan such as green island and Lanyu, and the upsurge of whale watching and sea fishing.

Xiaoyeliu area

The North Bank of Fugang fishing port connects with the coastal mountains, with the distribution of uplifted rocks and coral reefs, which is similar to the terrain and landscape of Yeliu scenic spot in Wanli District of Xinbei City, so it is called "xiaoyeliu" area. Xiaoyeliu is the first stop for Taitung City to enter the coastline scenic spot. Due to its special coastal landscape and rich recreational resources, it has always been a famous scenic spot on the east coast of Taiwan.

Kalulan Scenic Area

About 3 kilometers to the north of Fugang fishing port is the kalulan scenic spot, which is famous for its stratigraphic turnover. "< igalulan < / I" is an AMI language, which means a place for hair washing. This is because the nearby stream is rich in clay minerals, which makes hair naturally moist and bright after hair washing. The local place was originally the holy land of the AMI kalulan community. The name of houye mountain nearby is homonymous from the Heluo language of the AMI language "< ikawasan < / I", which means "the land of ancestors". In the past, there were AMI warriors who died here to protect their homes. From the perspective of geological landscape, there are complete sedimentary structure and sedimentary deformation structure, and all upside down, which is very special.

Dulan Bay

Starting from the Fugang fishing port, 8 kilometers north of the tai11 line, after entering Donghe Township, is the quiet Dulan Bay, where there are a variety of coastal plants and intertidal organisms.
