Shancai cave

Shancaidong temple is located in Wutai Mountain, Shanxi Province. It is the legendary place where emperor Shunzhi became a monk. It is a yellow temple built in the Qing Dynasty. Back against the top of dailuoding, facing the Qingshui River, the scenery is very beautiful. The temple is divided into upper and lower courtyards, about 100 meters apart. The lower courthouse is the main temple. It was built in the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty. It sits east to west. There are three entrance halls on the central axis, and on both sides are Buddhist temples. The layout is quite solemn. The upper courtyard is located on the precipice and precipitous terrain, and has a unique cave. On the cliff of the upper courtyard, there is a stone cave called "shancai cave". Local monks believe that it is the place for shancai boy to cultivate his nature, so it is called "the holy mark on the stage".
