Jiang Zige

Jiang Zi Ge is on Xuelang mountain in Wuxi. What Jiang Zi said is Jiang Zizhen, the first number one scholar in old Wuxi County. This "Jiangzi Pavilion" is exactly a place of interest that highlights the achievements of the number one scholar. Jiangzi Pavilion, formerly known as tanyun Pavilion, was built in 1196, the second year of Qingyuan in Southern Song Dynasty. The building is a two-story brick and wood structure small building with open high porch and flying eaves. Here we can see many gold medalists in the history of Wuxi. There are plaques inscribed by he Guiqing, governor of Liangjiang in Qing Dynasty, "Jiangzi Pavilion" and "Jiangzi reading office" by Kang Youwei. Kang Youwei also wrote a deep blue plaque of more than one meter long on the south facing wall of the pavilion. It is vigorous, powerful and very conspicuous.

Jiang Zige

Jiangzi Pavilion

Historically, the scholarly families in Wuxi sent boys to study here, such as Zou Zhongqi, Wang Yunjin, Gu Gao and so on. The reporter saw that from the bottom of the deep canyon behind Hengshan temple, a winding stone step road leads to the mountain, which is Zhuangyuan Road, sometimes with grass and forest, sometimes through mountain streams. Step up along the track of the number one scholar and enjoy the beautiful scenery all the way. Walking to the mountainside, I met a deep stream and put up a stone bridge, named Zhuangyuan bridge. Zhuangyuan bridge is not big. It is only built with three granite slabs of different thicknesses and 2m long. Although the structure is simple, it is extraordinary. If you knock three Bridge Slabs with stones, you can hear three different sounds. It is especially pleasant in the mountains. Some people use it to knock out a song "Meng Jiangnu looking for her husband", which is beautiful and drunk, so it is also called "Sanyin bridge". Not far from Zhuangyuan bridge, there is a pavilion standing on the side of the road. It was originally built for pedestrians to have a rest on the way. Because Jiang Chongzhen often passed here to study in tanyun Pavilion, later generations called it Zhuangyuan Pavilion. Zhuangyuan Pavilion is built on the mountain, with square shape, flying eaves, simple lines, simple and elegant, and unique charm. In the pavilion, you can see from afar in accordance with the fence, with green eyes and fragrant wild flowers. Listen to the pines and waves in the valley, the sound of the stream, and the aura, as if you were in the fairyland of Penglai. There is a stone tablet on the mountain. The inscription bears Jiang Chongzhen's life, which is extremely precious.
