It belongs to the Kaju sect of Tibetan Buddhism. In the 1950s, the Zengke Lama, jinmeiosai, was entrusted by the 16th Karmapa to build a nine storey milletta here, which is called Zengke temple. Later, the Zengke Lama built a Kagyu sect's "naruo Liufa" closed door center. Many practitioners came after hearing the news. The Zengke Lama helped them to build the summit and preach the Dharma. The Zengke Temple gradually flourished.
