Xigouli Village

Xigouli village is subordinate to Gaozhuang sub district office of Laicheng district. It is located in the hilly area, 5km south of Laicheng and 3km southeast of Gaozhuang sub district office. National Highway 205 and Han Lai highway pass from the north of the village. It faces Lianhua River in the west, across the river from Anxian village, donggouli in the East, Gouli reservoir and taohualing in the south. At present, there are 860 residents and more than 200 mu of land.

In the middle of Ming Dynasty, Wang family moved to Xigouli village. Later, because of the changes in the world, Wang moved to another place. In the early Qing Dynasty, the surname Li moved here. Because it is to the west of donggouli, it is named Xigouli. Today, there are Li, Zhang Gong, Shao, Gu, Liu and other surnames in the village.

Historical records

It is recorded in the annals of Laiwu County by Kangxi of Qing Dynasty that "the story is baoxigouli". In the early years of the Republic of China, Xigouli was under the jurisdiction of the city;

Xigouli Village

Laiwu was divided into three counties in 1941. Xigouli belongs to Wennan District of Xinfu county;

In October 1945, the organizational system of Laiwu county was restored, and the county was divided into 13 districts. Xigouli village belongs to Wennan district;

After 1951, it was still Wennan district; in October 1957, it belonged to Nanye people's commune. Xigouli, donggouli and Tianpu villages formed a high-level commune, and then it was the advance brigade;

In February 1959, Nanye people's commune was abolished and attached to Gaozhuang people's commune

In April 1960, Gaozhuang people's commune was abolished and transferred to Yanzhuang people's commune;

In May 1964, Xigou returned to Gaozhuang people's commune;

In April 1984, the people's Commune and the administrative area were abolished and changed to Nanye township (small township) under the jurisdiction of Gaozhuang office;

In October 1985, it was removed from the township and set up a town, belonging to Nanye town;

In October 2001, Nanye town was abolished and Gaozhuang sub district office was established. Xigou village was under the jurisdiction of Gaojie sub district office.

Xigou village has a long history. Villagers have cultivated, multiplied and lived in harmony on this fertile soil for generations. In the long-term revolutionary struggle, many people in Xigouli village engaged in the revolution and made brilliant achievements. Li shouxuan joined the party in 1939, actively carried out work in the village, engaged in revolutionary propaganda activities, actively promoted the truth that "hot blooded men should protect their families and defend the country, resist Japan and save the nation from subjugation", and organized the village's aspiring young people to actively participate in the anti Japanese team. During the war of liberation, under the leadership of village heads Gong dianchen and Li Fugui, the villagers fought against the landlords, divided their fields, and were extremely active. “

More than 20 people in the village rushed to the battlefield and five people died for the revolution. In order to pursue the truth, many of the pillars went to the south of the Yangtze River for the frontier and made great contributions. After liberation, most of the comrades who took part in the revolution became leading cadres with higher positions. After the founding of the people's Republic of China in 1949, the villagers of Xigouli Village United and helped each other to run for the socialist road of Kangzhuang. They joined the junior society in 1953, and Li Fugui was the president of the society. The villagers take the land as their shares and manage it in a unified way, so that the land can do its best and the people can do their best. Xigouli people have devoted themselves to the development of production with full socialist enthusiasm. Xigouli people are diligent and thrifty, hard-working, and diligent in farming_ Xigou village has convenient transportation. Hanlai road and national highway 205 pass through the north of the village, creating conditions for economic development. Xigouli people have a flexible mind, a strong sense of science and technology, new ideas and a good foundation. After the reform and opening up, due to the reservoir area, the remaining arable land per capita is very small. The two village committees encourage villagers to work individually and seek a way out. With the encouragement and support of the two committees of the village, the individual economy of the whole village is extremely active. Those engaged in transportation and breeding account for 30% of the village's labor. Among them, Li nianshen is the largest in the breeding industry, with an annual output of 10000 broilers and 3000 Jin of fresh eggs; Li Meixian, Gong Xianwei, Li Zhensheng and others in the transportation industry are engaged in passenger transport, with one CMB running on Laiwu steel line; Li Zhendong, a large transport operator, is engaged in three trailers. In addition, 40 010 of the village's labor force are engaged in the service industry. Li Jiayang Tang, in particular, is well-known. Now it has opened another branch in the north gate of Nanye coal mine, and its business is booming. There are also more than 100 people engaged in stone processing. While encouraging and supporting the development of individual economy, the collective economy in the village is growing. In 1985, the two committees of the village decided to apply for the construction of Xigou village coal mine and clay mine by taking advantage of local resources, which absorbed the surplus labor force of the village. Everyone in the village has work to do, everyone can earn money and take the lead in entering a well-off life. Xigouli people always attach importance to culture and education, advocate etiquette and morality, and educate people with culture.

In 1966, in order to build a complete primary school, the villagers did not hesitate to demolish their own pigsty and grave.

In 1996, Xigou primary school was merged into the Central Primary School. The village still spends more than 20000 yuan a year on school office expenses. So far, more than 100000 yuan has been invested in education. The custom of respecting teachers and education has promoted the continuous improvement of villagers' cultural quality. Li Fuhua was admitted to Qufu Normal University in 1963 and was the first college student in the village.

From 1977 to 2002, there were more than 40 college graduates in the village. Li Jingtai is the first university student since the resumption of the college entrance examination,

In 1978, she was admitted to Tai'an Institute of education and is now the head of Tai'an Publishing Bureau; Li Meiying is now the vice president of Laiwu Academy of calligraphy and painting, a famous painter in Laiwu and even Shandong Province, and a member of national painting and calligraphy; Li Meiyue is an associate professor of Tai'an Institute of mining. Xigouli village carries out the combination of law and morality and civilized family management. It is a common practice for the whole village to respect the old. The simple folk custom of respecting the old and loving the young makes Xigouli village be praised by the higher authorities every year. The villagers not only meet the material life, but also have new demands for spiritual life. In the village, there is an ancient pagoda tree, which is more than 10 meters high, 5 meters in circumference, and more than 300 years old. The villagers consciously donated money to build a flower bed and erect a fence to protect it like a cultural relic, so that the villagers can not only feel the happiness of life, but also experience the changes of the world.
