Guanyun Pavilion

Guanyun Pavilion. Also known as sedan chair stone, it is a scenic spot. In the pavilion, you can see the shallow hills in South Sichuan. The river is like a belt, the fields are crisscross, and there are bamboo trees everywhere. Further away, it is the mountainous area around the Sichuan basin that transits to the Yunnan Guizhou Plateau. There are two rows of mountains stretching from east to west, one is yellow mountains, the other is full of green vegetation. They are like "Yellow Dragon" and "green dragon", swimming side by side, protecting this geomantic treasure land of bamboo sea in southern Sichuan.

history

According to legend, in 1862, the Qing army was defeated by Yiwang shidakai in guanxingchang (now Guanxing Township, Changning County). Tang yougeng, the chief General of the Qing army, was seriously injured and could not ride a horse. He came here in a sedan chair, and the Taiping army pursued him closely. When the sedan chair driver saw that the mountain was steep and the sedan chair was difficult to lift, he left the sedan chair and ran away. The sedan chair stayed there and became the big stone in the middle of the road today - "sedan chair stone".
