Hualou Palace
Laoshan Hualou palace, Taoist temple. Hualou mountain is located in the north of Laoshan Mountain in Laoshan District, Qingdao City, Shandong Province.
Construction time
It was founded by Taoist Liu Zhijian in the second year of TAIDING in Yuan Dynasty (1325) and rebuilt in Ming, Qing and Republic of China.
Intrauterine layout
There are three halls of Laojun, Yuhuang and Guandi in the palace, which are small in scale and exquisite; the palace is located on the mountain and gully, and the terrain is high and cool. The building area is more than 278 square meters, covering an area of more than 2000 square meters. There is a stone tablet written by Zhao Shiyan, the great scholar of the Yuan Dynasty, inside the courtyard. Outside the palace, there is "the first tablet of famous mountains on the sea". The beautiful scenery around it is rated as the 12 scenes of Hualou by Wang Sicheng, the Minister of the Yuan Dynasty. Outside the palace, there are some places of interest, such as biluoyan, jinyequan, cuipingyan, lingyangu, yunvpen, Yanzidong, Nantianmen, juxiantai and so on. It is one of Laoshan Taoist temples.
