Changzhou stone carving

Cheung Chau stone carving is a historic site on Cheung Chau Island in Hong Kong. It is located in the southeast of Cheung Chau, under the hillside of Warwick Hotel. It was carved by fishermen in ancient times for communication purposes. There are two groups of patterns on the stone carvings, which are composed of several curves surrounded by small grooves, but after weathering, the texture is not very clear.

Changzhou stone carving is located in the Bronze Age stone carving below the Warwick Hotel along the East Bay of Changzhou. It has a history of about 3000 years,

It was discovered by geologists in 1970.

The other group of stone carvings was not fully exposed at the time of discovery; only after small-scale excavation can they show the whole picture.

Take a boat from pier 6 in central to Cheung Chau, walk along the pier sign to Warwick Hotel, and the stone carving is located below the hotel.

1. You can take the new ferry company's ferry from central.

The operating hours of the ferry are:

[central to Cheung Chau] Monday to Saturday from 00:30 to 23:45, Sunday and holiday from 00:30 to 23:55.

[Cheung Chau to central] Monday to Saturday from 02:20 to 23:45, Sunday and holiday from 02:20 to 23:30.

The ticket price is 11.3 yuan for ordinary class, 17.8 yuan for luxury class and 22.2 yuan for express class from Monday to Saturday; 16.7 yuan for ordinary class, 26 yuan for luxury class and 32 yuan for express class on Sunday and holiday.

2. On Saturdays and holiday afternoons, you can also take the express from Tsim Sha Tsui to Cheung Chau at 32 yuan. After disembarking, cross Hoi Pang Street, go straight along Tung Wan Road, turn right at police station drive, go to Cheung Chau stadium, and then walk along Cheung Chau sports road for two or three minutes.
