Xishiliang waterfall

Next to the right side of xishiliang cave. When Xu Xiake, a man of Ming Dynasty, ascended the cave entrance, he heard the sound of waterfall like thunder. Go down the hill from the mouth of the cave and walk along the stream for a few minutes. On the north side of the mountain, there is a straight channel like a bamboo tube. From the top to the bottom, the waterfall is close to the cliff, flying straight down from the high cliff, touching the rocks and splashing at the half waist, the beads are like ten thousand Dendrobium, the beads are twinkling, and the water is noisy. Sometimes, the waterfall "is like a big stone falling into the pool", and its momentum is very majestic. The height of the waterfall is second only to dalongqiu, which is the second largest waterfall in Yandang Mountain. Xu Xiake once had the praise of "not the second rate of rock mountain".

Xishiliang waterfall

Xishiliang waterfall is located in Yanhu scenic area of Yandang Mountain. It is a hanging waterfall hidden in the cliff. The height of the waterfall is about 160 meters, second only to dalongqiu, and it is the second largest waterfall in Yandang Mountain.

Xishiliang waterfall is located on the west side of an east-west valley. The valley where the stream is located develops along the northwest direction. When it erodes to the upper rhyolite layer of a rhyolite unit, xishiliang waterfall is formed. Wang Shipeng of the Song Dynasty wrote it in the West waterfall: "Lingyuan is connected to Yanchi in the East / jiuxiao under the cracked rock cliff / Qingtian Yitian sword with broken clouds / gauze hanging in Yueming spring room / sound of the river and rain in three autumn / snow and ice flowers in May / xiule moved to Wenbei Mountain / he came to Shiliang to recruit.".

In his travel notes, Xu Xiake, a traveler of Ming Dynasty, said: "its high Ya Long Qiu is more like Zhuang Sheng, so it is not the second class of Yanshan." Modern Zhang Shumei compared it with dalongqiu and thought that "each of them has its own merits". Near xishiliang waterfall, there is the word "Youquan" written by Sun Ke, the former president of the national government and the president of the legislature. There is also a poem engraved by Jiang Shunan. On the stream in front of the waterfall, there is the word "xishiliang waterfall", which is big and full of rice. The pen is bold and bold.
