In the famous scenery of Tianshan Mountain, Biye describes such a scene: "flowers bloom all over the gorge in spring, fruits are full on the hillside in autumn, and when the flowers and fruits are ripe, it is a paradise for birds and beasts.". "There is such a wild fruit ditch. The ditch is full of wild apples, which lasts for 500 Li. In spring, no one knows the apple blossom for 500 Li. In autumn, no one picks the ripe apples, the old apple trees wither, and more new apple trees grow up." it is Daxigou. There are 396000 wild fruit trees, most of which are wild apple, wild sour plum, apricot and hawthorn. Wild sour plum forest is unique and unique in Asia, and it is the only rare species distributed in the mountain area of temperature inversion zone in Daxigou, Huocheng County, Xinjiang. Its scientific name is cherry plum. It is a arbor. Its fruit is round and oval in shape, and its color is bright, black, purple and yellow. It tastes sweet and sour, and its beverage and jam have the health functions of lowering blood fat and appetizing. The products are in short supply and are on the verge of extinction.

Mountain scenery

The Daxigou temple in the territory is called Fushoushan temple, which is the largest Taoist activity place in Xinjiang in the Qing Dynasty. According to Zhou Linsheng, the former Taoist of Daxigou, the Daxigou temple was built by Zhang Banxian, a Taoist appointed by the Qing government. Since 1763, after five or six years, 37 shrines have been built on Fushou mountain. The big and small temples are close to the mountains and rivers, and the temples are connected and encircled on the hillside of Fushou mountain. There is a temple fair in Daxigou temple, which lasts for 17 days from June 20 to July 7 of the lunar calendar. During the temple fair, vendors of all nationalities set up stalls here to pray for gods. Pilgrims come as far as Urumqi and Hami. As early as 1221, when the famous Taoist Changchun Zhenren, following Genghis Khan's western expedition, passed through the city of alimari in Ili, some Taoist disciples invited him to preach. At that time, Daxigou temple was famous and attracted tourists from the mainland and Central Asia.

The temple was destroyed in 1945. There is a crescent shaped natural stone cave and some cave niches on the mountain. The ladder path and vegetable garden built on the mountain can be seen.

A lama temple was built on the east slope opposite to Daxigou temple. Some Bortala Mongolian lamas came here to preach, chant sutras and chant Buddhas. The temple was destroyed during the revolution in the three districts.
