Jade Guanyan

Yuguanyan is located in jiuyidong village, two kilometers away from Emperor Shun's mausoleum. It is a small stone hill (no more than 50 meters high and no more than 100 meters in area). There are karst caves at the foot of the mountain, which are about 7 meters wide and 3-4 meters high. The depth is not big, and they are open-minded and bright. It is said that Xi Jing, the official name of Lingling literature in the Han Dynasty, discovered 12 Yuguan (a kind of stone wind instrument) in the cave, which were dedicated to Chaoyan.

Yuguanyan is located in Jiuyi mountain, 2km south of Shunyuan peak, within 100m southeast of the ancient Shun emperor mausoleum. The cave is about 7m wide and 3-4m high.

The mountain is small and exquisite, independent of Tiantong, with strange rocks and trees all over the mountain, known as "the best bonsai in the world". Xiaoshui tributary outside the cave is like a jade belt, passing around the mountain. The cave is not deep, open-minded and bright.

Originally known as the stone chamber of marquis he, it is said that Marquis He Nan moved here during the reign of Shun and Yao, and the word "yuguanyan" was written by Li Tingzu, a calligrapher of Song Dynasty.

The three characters of "Jiuyi mountain" with 1.7 square meters each are written by Fang Xinru, a calligrapher of Song Dynasty. They are vigorous and powerful. On magic rock, there are nearly a hundred famous poems and inscriptions such as "Jiuyi mountain inscription" by Cai Yong of Han Dynasty, all of which have high historical value.

In 2004, an area of 32000 square meters of the Han Dynasty ancient Shun Temple site excavated in front of yuguanyan was listed as a national key cultural relics protection unit. The large scale, exquisite workmanship and many cultural relics of the site have caused a sensation at home and abroad.
