Among them, the contents of metasilicic acid, strontium and lithium reach the national standard for drinking natural mineral water, which is called "high quality precious drinking mineral water". Radium, radon and other elements have curative effect on a variety of human diseases. There are many peaks on the spring, the Shuikou Longdong River is as clear as a mirror, and the pebbles under the water are countless. On both sides of the Strait, green pines and cypresses, wild flowers and grass, the scenery is pleasant.

Sanatorium, founded in October 1986, is located on the Bank of Longdong River about 200 meters away from the hot spring, covering an area of 70 mu. The houses are built on the basis of the mountains and are well arranged. The roofs are made of locally produced yellow glazed tiles. The shape is simple and elegant, with a unique style. On the elephant trunk ridge behind the sanatorium, there are six pavilions with different styles, which make the verdant hillside more enchanting. The sanatorium also has a physiotherapy room, a dining room, a conference hall, a dance hall, and so on. Flowers, plants, fruits and trees are planted around the sanatorium. It is evergreen all the year round and fragrant. The whole sanatorium is integrated with the hot spring in the shade of green trees, the towering elephant trunk ridge, the slowly flowing Longdong River and the magnificent golden lock bridge.

The golden lock bridge is near the elephant trunk hot spring, across the Longdong River and the elephant trunk ridge in the West. It is like a rainbow lying on the golden wave, just like a Golden Toad playing on a jade belt. The bridge, built in 1745, is a single hole double arc stone arch bridge with a sharp top, with a width of 9 meters, a total length of 37 meters and a height of 14 meters. With a span of 18 meters, an inner arc radius of 11.5 meters and a rise height of 2.1 meters, the bridge is one of the largest single span stone arch bridges in Yunnan Province. In the middle of the bridge, there is a stone square in the north and a Guanyin Pavilion in the south. It is symmetrical in North and south, with unique structure, exquisite stone carvings and beautiful environment. The scenery around Jinsuo bridge is pleasant. There are many bamboos beside the bridge. The flowing water under the bridge is murmuring and the trees on both sides are shady. Despite many earthquakes and weathering, it still stands tall.

The confrontation between Cuiping mountain and Xiangbi mountain is named because it looks like a screen and is green. There is a stone wall on the hillside, smooth and shining. It looks like the moon, and is called "moon rock". It is charming against the background of the surrounding lush forest and grass.

History and culture

The hot spring here was discovered as early as the Eastern Han Dynasty. After taking a shower and drinking mineral water, it can refresh the mind, keep fit, drive away diseases, and have a significant cosmetic effect on the skin. It was regarded as "divine water" by people at that time. During the early winter and Spring Festival, people from Huaning and nearby Tonghai, Jiangchuan, Jianshui and other places came to visit and bathe, often in groups, lighting bonfires, killing chickens and sheep, and drinking water The wine sings happily, and the sky reaches the dawn.
