Kangle grassland

With a total area of 2.68 million mu, grassland is the habitat of Yugu ethnic minority. There are Danxia geological scenic area, Machangtan grassland, KANGLONG temple, snow mountain exploration tourism area, Shiwo meeting site and other tourist attractions. Introduction to scenic spots

Kangle is named for its "KANGLONG Temple". The total grassland area is 2.68 million mu, and the forest area is about 450000 mu. There are Danxia geological scenic area, Machangtan grassland, KANGLONG temple, snow mountain exploration tourism area, Shiwo meeting site and other tourist attractions. With beautiful scenery, pleasant climate, convenient transportation and communication, it has been built into a grassland scenic spot with complete functions of vacation, entertainment, sightseeing and enjoying national customs. Machangtan grassland is 60km away from Zhangye (10km to the east of yumuzhuang, the seat of Kangle township government). Jiupaisong scenic spot is one of the famous scenic spots in Machangtan grassland. It is named after the nine rows of green pines. KANGLONG temple is located in Dacaotan village, Hongshiwo Township, Sunan. It was first built in the reign of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty and has a history of more than 300 years. On the 14th of the first month of the lunar calendar, the fourth day of June and the 25th of October, the temple holds a grand Buddhist activity, and a small meeting is held on the 15th of each month. There are rugged forests, luxuriant vegetation, beautiful mountain flowers, a few scenes a year, green pines and cypresses on the other side of the river, like a beautiful natural screen, the clear river at the foot of the mountain is winding, flowing jade and silver, and the flowers and birds in the forest stream are singing. It is a quiet and peaceful place. Walking into Kangle grassland, in the continuous and overlapping mountains, you will see a green stone mountain standing in the East, which is Shiwo mountain range. Shiwo was the place where the Red Army of the West Road wanted to fight with blood. It was the site of the meeting of the military and Political Committee of the Red Army of the West Road, which had revolutionary historical significance. Hongshiwo got its name from this. At the top of Hongshiwo mountain, there is a memorial to the site of Shiwo, which is a holy land for red tourism.
