Liantang ancient town

--Liantang is a typical water town in the south of the Yangtze River. It has a history of more than 1000 years. Without too much commercial rendering, it still keeps a quiet and simple taste.

--There are not many cultural relics here, and there are few tourists, which is enough to give you a taste of a real Jiangnan Town.

--There is a city river running through the East and west of the town. Pedestrians on both sides of the river are passing by, and boats are blocking the harbor.

--It has to be said that Liantang is still Chen Yun's hometown. Chen Yun spent eight years as a teenager here. Chen Yun's former residence needs to buy tickets to get in.

--You can go to the characteristic interactive Museum, eat Chen's eel noodles, listen to Pingtan, drink tea, eat hand wrapped rice dumplings, see the old stone bridge, and take a boat trip to the water town.

--You don't need a ticket to enter the ancient town. The transportation is not very convenient. It's recommended to drive there by yourself.

Traffic information: Liantang Town is located in the southwest of Shanghai, which can be reached by self driving or public transportation

1. Self driving: Take National Highway 318 to Zhufeng Road, turn 5-6 kilometers and you'll be there soon.

2. Public transportation: take subway line 1 to exit 4 of people's Square, go to Yan'an viaduct, cross the overpass, go to Pu'an Road for Huqing special line (next to Shanghai Grand Theater), get off at Qingpu bus station, and then change to Qingfeng line (Qingshi line, Qingxiao special line, Qingshen special line are OK) at No.2 Middle School to Liantang station. The fare is about 10 yuan.
