Initial construction

The Binhai Park was a beach before it was built in 1991. The only building is an ancient fort. The whole area is reclaimed from the sea. It was officially opened to the public in October 1995. In May 1996, the dreamland in the park began to receive tourists. The park covers an area of seven hundred and thirty mu (about four hundred and eighty thousand square meters). It integrates gardening, tourism and entertainment. It is a large modern comprehensive amusement park from design to construction. The first phase of the project has been completed, with an investment of about 150 million yuan, covering an area of about 200000 square meters.

present situation

When the Binhai Park was just opened, people lined up to play with amusement equipment during holidays. However, since 1999, due to insufficient investment and poor management of investors, it began to go downhill and finally closed down.

In order to integrate the Binhai Park and reuse and activate the idle resources of the park, Haikou City decided to build Hainan (Haikou) youth activity center here in 2011, with an investment of about 210 million yuan to build an activity center, training center and Guidance Center for young people's extracurricular education that integrates culture, sports, beauty and other training functions.

There are Chinese and Western restaurants, song and dance halls, wedding photography, bee kingdom, etc. in the park, the green area is very large, with 160000 square meters of lawn, 9508 trees, 6000 square meters of flowering shrubs, including artificial lakes, rockeries, fountains, etc. There are peace pigeon square, boating, peninsula drink garden, barbecue garden, horse rink and other amusement projects in the park.

The park has 160000 square meters of lawn, 9508 trees, 6000 square meters of flowering shrubs, artificial lake (24573 square meters), rockery, fountains, etc. the park also has peace pigeon square, boating project, peninsula drink garden, barbecue garden, horse walking field and other recreational projects.
