Minnan Grand Theater has a total construction area of 27000 square meters and a total investment of over 430 million yuan. The shape of the theater is unique, showing strong Shanghai style characteristics and Minnan charm. The silver white triangle hollow out wall sets off the active red. The semi open glass curtain wall enhances the lighting effect and architectural space sense of the theater. It is built according to the international first-class theater standard.

The "shoe box" layout of the auditorium in the Golden Hall of the grand theater can accommodate 1497 people. The interior design and materials of the theater fully consider the architectural acoustics, and the reverberation time reaches 1.6 seconds of the international standard. The main stage adopts the internationally accepted "pin" shape stage, and the stage machinery, lighting, sound system and other equipment are configured according to the standards of domestic top theatres. It is able to undertake domestic high-level large-scale opera, dance drama, large-scale variety show performances, and take into account the needs of symphony, chamber music, chorus and other performances and conferences. It has the basic functions and conditions to undertake international performance groups.

How big is it? Leaders can sense that the area of the main stage is three times that of the auditorium. The area of our platform is 18 times 12. The width of the main stage is 31.1 meters and the depth is 23.4 meters. If we add the width of the two side stages is 70 meters and the depth is 46.5 meters, and the whole stage is like a heavy machinery factory, which is very hidden What a mystery. The main stage is composed of six lifting tables, which can be lifted and translated at will. These lifting plates can also be tilted to make the stage more hierarchical. The left and right sides of the stage can be interchanged, can also be combined with the main stage, so this can be more convenient to complete some large-scale program props and equipment scheduling. The back stage is equipped with two concentric circle turntables, one large and one small, which can carry performances, props and even tilt. The orchestra pool in front of the stage can be used as an extended stage to make the performance closer to the audience. When it comes down, it can also be raised to the same height as the audience, which can accommodate 80 people at the same time. Over the stage, there are nearly a hundred electric booms, which can be hung and replaced quickly. Stage machinery, lighting, sound system and other equipment are in accordance with the domestic top theater standard configuration. In addition, Minnan Grand Theater has two special VIP lounges, a band rehearsal hall, a practice room, a music room, an office room and a conference room. It also has special dressing rooms, including eight large dressing rooms, four medium dressing rooms, five small dressing rooms and a multi-function hall, which can accommodate about 200 people and meet the needs of small meetings and performances.

Small theater

Minnan Grand Theater (small theater) is a place for small-scale singing and dancing, meetings, exhibitions, press conferences, cocktail parties, dances, fashion shows and other activities.

In the auditorium, there is a set of activity stand seats, with 154 seats and 21 Trinity seats. The maximum number of seats in the auditorium can reach 217. When not in use, the seats can be folded up and placed on the wall to empty all the auditorium space.

Dressing Room

There are 17 dressing rooms in Minnan Grand Theater, which are divided into 2 large dressing rooms, 10 middle dressing rooms and 5 VIP dressing rooms. They are located between the first floor and the second floor behind the stage. The VIP dressing room has independent bathroom equipment and upright piano, and the group shower room is located on the first floor.

Large dressing room

There are two. It is located at 207 and 208 on the second floor, near the lower gate (left). 207 can accommodate about 45 people, 208 can accommodate about 35 people. There is a wash desk and dressing room.

Chinese dressing room

There are 10. They are distributed on the first floor to the second floor. Each room can accommodate about 15 people. There are hand washing tables and dressing rooms.

VIP dressing room

It is located between the 1st and 2nd floors. There are 5 rooms in total, including 3 rooms on the first floor and 2 rooms on the second floor. Each room has its own bathroom equipment and upright piano.

Architectural features

The shape of the theater is unique, showing strong Shanghai style characteristics and Minnan charm. The silver white triangle hollowed out exterior wall sets off the active red. The semi open glass curtain wall enhances the lighting effect and architectural space sense of the theater. The two main colors of red and white in the theater form a strong contrast, creating a warm and festive atmosphere. The streamline design can be seen everywhere, drawing a beautiful arc. It is both modernist abstract and reminiscent of the surging waves on the sea, bringing a new experience to people visually.
