Shanqing building

Shanqinglou is a square earth building, with terraced fields on the top of the hillside, green grasses in the fields, mountains and streams, as well as river and pebble paths that have experienced many vicissitudes like earth buildings. Here, the ancient customs of the Central Plains and the thick Hakka folk customs are mingled. The building faces north and south. It is three stories high. The gallery and patio on the ground floor are paved with square granite, and the external wall is painted with lime.

Shanqing building

Shanqing building is located in Chuxi village, Xiayang Town, Yongding District, Longyan City, Fujian Province. It is located in the southeast of Fuqing building. It is a round earth building. It was built in 1979 and faces south, covering an area of 1200 square meters. Single ring, 31 meters in diameter, 3 floors in height, 26 rooms on each floor, inner corridor type, with a door in and out, and the middle patio paved with granite.

Shanqing building was built in 1979 with donations from overseas Chinese surnamed Xu. The corridor and patio on the first floor are all paved with square granite of the same specification, which has excellent ventilation and light transmission performance. Maybe you are used to the yellow earth buildings, but the exterior wall of Shanqing building is white, which also forms a strong color difference with other earth buildings.
