Shibi country trail

Shibi country trail is mainly along the eastern hillside of Shibi reservoir. Looking up at the top, the blade like dog teeth ridge is frightening.

At the beginning of the trail, the road surface is gentle and gradually turns downward. It goes down about 500 meters along the steps to the wide water diversion road. The green lawn is covered with trees and there are wooden benches under the trees. This is the famous "Shibi waterway".

Shibi water diversion channel is connected with Changsha water diversion channel in the East, goulingyong water diversion channel in the west, qiangshan and north water diversion channels, and Shenqu East and west water diversion channels. It is one of the supporting facilities of Shibi reservoir.

Traffic information: starting point

Take the bus to Ngong Ping and get off. You can see the entrance of the country trail by passing the tea garden and Xinjing Jianlin.

End point

Walk off South Lantau road from the Shek Pik site and take a bus back to Mui Wo pier or Tung Chung city centre.
