An Xiantang

"Anxiantang", designed by Chinese architects, is an architectural form of the school. The parapet is also decorated with granite, such as Castle sawtooth, entrance steps and main column awning. It is the only two-story building built with strip stones on Gulangyu Island.

After the completion of the new church, the Minnan branch association was held, and the pastor Anderson presided over the "dedication ceremony" of the new church, so it was named "anxien hall". After liberation, the party and the government set up a primary school here, which was named "Kangtai primary school" and later "Gongnong primary school". Since the 1980s, it has become a professional music school. From then on, it became the cradle of musicians.

Now it's Meihua sanatorium for the elderly.
