Jinan Shungeng International Convention and Exhibition Center is invested and built by Jinan people's government. It is located in Shungeng villa, Jinan "state guesthouse". In July 2016, the construction of Jinan Western Convention and Exhibition Center was officially started, and it is planned to be completed in December 2018. At that time, the exhibition pattern of Jinan Shungeng International Convention and Exhibition Center, Jinan Western Convention and Exhibition Center, and Jinan International Convention and Exhibition Center will be formed.

Introduction to the exhibition hall

Jinan Shungeng International Convention and Exhibition Center is to hold the "International Forum and exposition of information technology innovation" (hereinafter referred to as the Information Technology Expo) sponsored by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia Pacific, the Asia Pacific Technology Transfer Center and the Chinese Academy of engineering. It is invested and built by Jinan Municipal People's government, and is under the construction of Jinan Shungeng villa.

The exhibition center is divided into two phases. The first phase is composed of conference, seminar, exhibition, parking and other functions, while the second phase is the supporting service function. The building adopts advanced steel structure and cable type point supported glass curtain wall system, and is equipped with intelligent control system meeting the requirements of modern exhibition. It is a modern exhibition building with advanced technology and complete functions, which meets the technical requirements of the information age.

The architectural design of the exhibition center is based on the principle of respecting the natural environment and obeying the overall situation of the region, with the design concept of highlighting the natural features of Jinan Mountain and water. Through the architectural modeling conforming to the contour of the mountain and the landscape design showing the dynamic flow, the organic combination of human and nature, architecture and landscape is achieved, creating a new beautiful landscape for Jinan.

Under the leadership of the municipal Party committee and the municipal government, with the full support and scientific guidance of the leaders in charge, and with the full cooperation of the relevant functional departments of the government, the engineering construction headquarters, through strict organization and reasonable scheduling, led all the builders to overcome many difficulties without fear of hardship. Under the circumstances of tight time, heavy tasks, high requirements and great difficulties, they went through five months of hard work We successfully completed the construction task of the Convention and Exhibition Center, ensured the success of the fair, and delivered a satisfactory answer to the municipal Party committee, municipal government and the people of the whole city.

Scale of exhibition hall

The building area of the exhibition center is 41000 square meters, including 20000 square meters of exhibition area, which can accommodate 1000 international standard booths; the underground parking lot is 10000 square meters, which can park 150 cars at the same time; the conference area is 6000 square meters, which has 11 large and small conference rooms that can accommodate 40-700 people; and the underground two-story supermarket with 5000 square meters is an ideal place for holding various exhibitions and conferences.
