Waterfront Promenade

The promenade is located in the north of the inner bay in the central area of Shantou. It is a 17 meter wide and 2000 meter long strip park. It was founded in 1984 and basically completed in 1987. Thousands of ornamental trees and shrubs such as Jinfeng, coconut, banyan, huanghuahuai, Nerium indicum, Canna are planted on the corridor. There are seven main garden buildings with corridors and pavilions, including three curved corridors of Dianfan, Tingtao and Guanyu, two groups of pavilions of Pinhai Pavilion and LiuSan Pavilion, and 16 groups of small sculptures. The corridors and pavilions of each group are connected by paths. Corridor, pavilion coherent and long, like a long dragon, majestic. Along the corridor, the trees are green and lush, and the golden glazed tiles on the corridor reflect each other between the blue sea and sky, forming a grand view. It is one of the tourist attractions in Shantou City.

It's a good place to visit neiwan port in Shantou.

In 2008, the west section of the promenade was reconstructed under the municipal planning. After the reconstruction, the green landscape and activity space have been greatly improved.
