Luoguhe Village

Luoguhe village is the most Western Village on the South Bank of Heilongjiang Province, facing Russia's pokrov village across the river, known as the first village at the source of Heilongjiang Province. The village has a history of nearly 100 years. There are 40 families in the village. It is said that this kind of building is warm in winter and cool in summer. It is very suitable for people living in alpine areas.

Luoguhe Village

Luoguhe village is an ancient village at the source of Heilongjiang Province, also known as "the first village of Longjiang" and "the first village at the source", which is under the jurisdiction of Beiji Town, Mohe city. It is 8 kilometers away from the boundary between Heilongjiang Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the west, more than 50 kilometers away from the Arctic village where the town government is stationed in the East, and 90 kilometers away from Xilinji town in the southeast. In the late Qing Dynasty, in 1886 (the 12th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty), a group of gold miners from Shandong came here to dig cellars and live there. They began to live in the wasteland.

In 2016, Luoguhe village was selected as "the most beautiful village in China".

Evolution of organizational system

In the 10th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, after the discovery of Jinmiao in laojingou of Mohe, Shandong people came to xikouzi, qiqianhe, xinghuagou and other places to collect gold. Luogu river was used as a transit station to dig a cellar here to live, open up wasteland and cultivate land, and gradually formed villages.

The name of the village comes from the name of a nearby river, formerly known as "Luobie River". The villagers thought it indecent, so they renamed it "Luogu River".

In 1906 (the 32nd year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty), the Luogu River Kalun was set up.

After the founding of the Republic of China, Mohe County set up a governing Bureau in 1914, and later came under the jurisdiction of Mohe County.

Regional characteristics

In 1990, there were farmers in the village, most of whom were from Shandong. The villagers are engaged in farming, fishing and timber transportation. Their living standard is relatively high. In 1985, their per capita income exceeded 1000 yuan.

Heilongjiang is formed by the confluence of Erguna River in the South and shileka River in the north. Luogu River, the source of Heilongjiang, is more than 200 kilometers long, with the deepest of 12 meters and the shallowest of 1 meter. The scenery on both sides of the river is quiet and beautiful. Luogu river is the name of the first village at the source of Heilongjiang Province. There are 36 households in Luogu River, which has a history of more than 90 years.

Luogu river is a small border village. The shileka River from Kent mountain in Mongolia and Erguna River from the west slope of Great Xing'an Mountains in China converge in Luogu river village, forming the source of Heilongjiang. To the west of Luoguhe village is Inner Mongolia, and to the north across Heilongjiang is Russia. There is no bridge on the river. Every winter, when the river freezes, Russian wood on the other side of the river will be transported through the ice. A small green can house on the side of the road is the Russian border checkpoint.
