Ding temple is located in Guandu ancient town in the southeast suburb of Kunming City, Yunnan Province, adjacent to Tuzhu temple in the south. It was first built in Nanzhao period (around 756). Most of the existing buildings were rebuilt in 1895. Sit West to East, covering an area of about 2500 square meters. The hall is five rooms wide and three rooms deep, 17.2 meters long and 15.7 meters wide, with a single eaves resting on the top of the mountain and nine steps on the Dougong. [1]
In 2003, statutory temple and Tuzhu Temple became the cultural relics protection units in Yunnan Province. In 2008, Shifa temple, together with Tuzhu temple, miaozhan temple and Guanyin Temple in Guandu ancient town, was entrusted by Shaolin Temple and became a part of "Guandu Shaolin Temple".
