Yan Xiaozhong, also known as Ji Zhong, was born in Xuchang (now Xuchang, Henan Province). He was a pediatrician in the Northern Song Dynasty.

A talk about Daliang (now Kaifeng, Henan Province) people. He was cured by Qian Yi, a famous pediatrician. A little longer, fine research Qian's treatment of disease, then fine pediatrics. Qian's medical prescriptions and works were collected and integrated into three volumes of pediatric medicine syndrome direct formula. Another volume, Zhongguang Baosheng Xinxiao Fang, has been lost.
