Northern weapons City

Located in Qingshan Road, Qingshan District, Baotou City, North weapons city is a special tourist attraction invested and prepared by China Weapons Inner Mongolia North Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd., which integrates national defense, weapons exhibition, military culture communication, leisure and entertainment. It is also a key patriotic education base in Baotou city.

Entering the main gate of the weapons City, you can see the main square area of the weapons city. There are nine 9-meter-high granite cultural columns, representing the nine districts and counties under the jurisdiction of Baotou city. The local conditions and customs of Baotou and the myths and legends of Inner Mongolia are carved on the columns. There are weapon display areas on both sides of the square area, displaying all kinds of representative weapons, such as the artillery made by the Soviet Union during the patriotic war; the first 100 anti-aircraft gun developed by the Republic, that is, the "first gun of the Republic" reviewed by Chairman Mao Zedong on the 10th anniversary of the founding of the people's Republic of China. The underground display of the weapons city is conventional light weapons, providing physical objects, models and pictures of light weapons, as well as supporting facilities such as pistols, machine guns and live ammunition laboratories. The national defense education exhibition hall displays the wonderful scenes of famous battles at home and abroad for tourists through the high-tech acousto-optic system, and provides national defense education for tourists. Heping square is located in the south of the weapon city. It is a wide venue, and now it is a place for citizens' leisure and fitness activities. The northern weapons city gives people a glimpse of the style of conventional weapons. Now it has become a famous characteristic landscape in Baotou and even Inner Mongolia.

Located in Baotou City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, outside the plant area of Inner Mongolia North Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd., North weapons city is a characteristic park with the principle of "green ecology" and the theme of "spreading military culture and reflecting leisure and entertainment". It is the first military featured tourist attraction in North China and a national AAAA tourist attraction.

The North weapons City displays retired weapons such as armored vehicles, artillery, fighter planes and missiles produced and imported by China since the founding of the people's Republic of China.

The main gate of the weapon city is a magnificent symbol and nine cultural pillars, which is the main square area of the weapon city. The stainless steel sculptures with the theme of "flying" imply the management concept of "outer circle and inner square" and the enterprise culture based on "harmony". The weapons display area is located on both sides of the main square, displaying 28 kinds of representative weapons, including the first 100 high door developed by the Republic, which was inspected by Chairman Mao Zedong on the 10th anniversary of the founding of the people's Republic of China; the cutting-edge weapon of the 1960s, the "red flag II" missile that repeatedly shot down the U-2 aircraft of the United States; and the "double May 7th" missile that made outstanding achievements in the Xisha naval battle In the 50th anniversary of the founding of the people's Republic of China, Daqing received the inspection of the third generation of leaders with modern equipment, such as the 120 mm self-propelled anti tank gun, which is the enemy of the tank; advanced technology at home and abroad, reflecting the different levels of base self-propelled guns, provides visitors with the opportunity to visit the weapon city in close range, which can not only increase their knowledge, but also experience the feeling of being a soldier.

The underground conventional light weapons exhibition area of the ordnance City displays some modern and modern light weapons, models and pictures. There are pistols, machine guns and live ammunition experimental fields. You can also visit the civil products production line of the group company and watch the live ammunition firing of artillery.

Heping square is located in the south of the weapon City, with a hardened area of 11000 square meters. With the "one" shaped weapons exhibition area, Heping square has become a tourist activity center.
